[4/22] Narcan Training for HCSOCAAA Members
Jim Ginder from the Hamilton County Health Department will lead a training session on how to administer Narcan, a life-saving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
Narcan (naloxone) is easy to use, typically given as a nasal spray, and works within minutes to restore breathing and consciousness.
Training our alumni members to respond to opioid emergencies is an important step in promoting community safety. Participants will receive free Narcan to carry with them or keep on hand in case of an emergency.
Class begins at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the HCSO Training Room.
Limited to 40 participants. Sign up now to secure your spot.
[4/23] 4th Annual Chaplaincy Prayer Breakfast
Each year, our Alumni Association supports the HCSO Chaplain’s Office during their major fundraising event at The Old Mill Conference & Banquet Center. Our role is crucial in ensuring a smooth experience for guests by guiding them to the correct locations and assisting with seating arrangements.
This year’s 4th Annual Chaplaincy Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for April 23, 2025, at The Old Mill Top Conference & Banquet Center (802 Mulberry Street, Noblesville). We are looking for 10 volunteers to assist. Please plan to arrive by 6:30 AM, and the event will conclude around 9:00 AM.
Volunteers should wear their Citizens Academy or Alumni Association shirt and name tag if available. Your support is invaluable to the Chaplaincy Office, and we truly appreciate your dedication to HCSO and our community.
