Hamilton County Emergency Management is supporting the Health Department at the vaccine clinic at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. We are looking for more staff. We can use both volunteers and  employees. The volunteers are asked to work two 4 hour shifts per week. You can request to become an employee at $15 per hour but must be able to work a minimum of 18 hours up to 29 hours (must be 18y/o or older).

Rolling out new uniforms at the Sheriff's Office! These uniforms are designed to improve the health and safety of our deputies by redistributing equipment weight. When you see them in your community, come check them out!

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office will be conducting the Citizen's Academy Class 2021-22 beginning April 1st through June 17, 2021. The eleven-week classes will be held in the HSCO Training Room from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Be sure to support the HCSOCA!

This annual 13-day event will begin July 12 and the riders are raising money to support the families left behind when a law enforcement officer dies in the line of duty. Our former Citizen's Academy leader, Bryant Orem, helps organize the event and will be cycling the full distance, as well.

Smart 911

Hamilton County has a program that allows residents to provide information about themselves that could be helpful to police, firefighters, paramedics and 911 operators should they need to utilize 911 services

 

The primary use for Smart 911 is to link phone numbers to medical information that may be relevant during an emergency, Individuals enrolled can link important information, like medical conditions, their home address, other members of the household and their physical descriptions and medical needs.
